Live from New York!
That’s where I’m writing you from. Now in its third year, the Yass Prize, known as the Pulitzer of Education Innovation, will reward and celebrate innovative organizations trying to break the cycle of ineffective education failing students across the country tomorrow night in New York City.
This year’s awardees exemplify the best of American endeavors in education - people and organizations that defy traditional roadblocks and stop at nothing to deliver highly personalized, pathbreaking education for kids.
Alyssa Farah Griffin, Co-host of The View on ABC and CNN political commentator, will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the gala celebration to honor the Yass Prize cohort of 2023 and reveal the grand prize winner and finalists.
The announcement will be reported live via X (formerly known as Twitter). TUNE IN AT 8:45 PM EST tomorrow, December 13th TO LEARN the eight Semifinalists and winner of the prestigious Yass Prize!
Who will be next?
But first, join us LIVE from Forbes Tomorrow!
Tune in to the livestream on Wednesday, December 13, 12 pm - 2 pm EST, to meet the extraordinary 33 Yass Prize Semifinalists and learn how they are powering disruptive innovations in education for tens of thousands of students and the entrepreneurial adults leading the way.

Read why we do what we do
It wasn’t just the thousands of applications this year or last, or the fact that the innovators we found in the midst of Covid outperformed for underserved students and still are doing so while the education of too many American kids lags below any level in history.
No, we at CER and Yass Prize do what we do because it helps our youth become highly impactful, effective, productive and happy adults.
Read the last Year-in-Review to understand more.
Watch the highlights of the First Annual Yass Summit (with the Spinners and the Beach Boys!) to see how exhilarating the awardees are in their efforts.
And join the cause! You can join the team, apply when the next application opens up, attend an upcoming event and by all means WATCH and FOLLOW tomorrow @YassPrize and @edreform on Twitter!
It’s almost Christmas! 🎄🎁 We’ll be back to tell you some final thoughts of 2023 before taking a (much-needed) vacation. Happy Hanukah, Happy Holidays and Happy Yass Prize Celebration! 😍
